I tried to take this online test, which I found on Rebecca Anderson's livejournal. It's supposed to tell me how my brain works, whether I use more of my left hemisphere or my right hemisphere.
I've tried three times. Each time, it opens the test and tells me that there are no right or wrong answers, just responses that it will use to analyse how my brain works. It then asks me the first of twenty multiple-choice questions, I choose my response and click "Next," and the test breaks.
Seriously. On Firefox and on IE, it either kicks me right back to the opening screen or gives me a "This page cannot be displayed" error.
Several years ago, my drama teacher brought two unwound coat hangers into class and used them as dowsing rods. She held them straight out in front of her, letting them rest lightly in her hands, and approached a student. As soon as she got close enough, the hangers drifted back, as if pushed aside by his personal space, until they were pointing at her instead. She did this for a few students, and the distance varied for each one, depending on their confidence.
This actually worked. Sceptic Boy stands here and tells you he saw it. You don't have to believe it's psychic, not when it's possible that she was unconsciously responding to subliminal body-language cues; but it actually worked. Or at least it did until she walked up to me. Nothing nothing nothing nothing, is my self-esteem really this low?, dammit, I am present I am here I am who I am. I took a deep breath, metaphorically speaking, and projected my sense of self-worth and self-confidence at her, and the hanger in her right hand moved back while the hanger in her left hand stayed exactly where it was. She paused, looked at the hangers, and looked at me in a way that made it entirely clear that this had never happened to her before.
My brain just broke the Internet.

I hate to ruin your story, but the test doesn’t work for me either. Bad javascript.
Depends on which of us visited it first. Foo.
You should have jammed the coat hangers up her nose. You’re old enough to have been attending school at a time when that would have been a misdemeanor, maybe nothing more than a suspension. These days, however…alas. DD.
Your father could likely have explained it to you, but you probably wouldn’t have accepted his explanation. Let’s try: The only way that something will move is if it is pushed …planets, ouiji boards, teen-age children… and coat hangers.
